26 May Speaking Engagement in NYC
I have been invited to give a talk about my photography and research at Midoma Gallery on Combining Art and Science for Advocacy at 7:30pm. I will give a presentation of my portrait photography and talk about how I am using this work to further advocacy and awareness about the cost of water development on river communities of indigenous throughout the world.
The featured communities I will talk about include the Gumuz on the Nile in Ethiopia, the Lao and Khmu on the Mekong in Laos, and previews of the Kuria on the Mara River in Tanzania. Details of where: Midoma Salon and Gallery, 545 8th Avenue Suite 750 New York, NY 10018. Phone: (917) 432-2667
