I've taken three trips to Egypt in the last three years. During that time I have had the opportunity to meet with and work with artists, community activists, academics, environmental educators, writers, poets, musicians, journalists, and photographers from around the Nile River Basin (and beyond). I attended the 2013 Nile Project Workshop and The Nile Forum Seed Camp held in March 2016 where I captured images of some of the impressive individuals I met during that time. Their portraits and short stories are the essence of this collection.
