Public Talk: Standing Rock in Miami 5 November

What: On November 5th, 2016 at 3pm, Dr. Jennifer Veilleux will give a public lecture on the Water Protector's Stand against the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) at Standing Rock, North Dakota. She will share the recent findings from her research team on the water security of the Missouri River Basin and how people and ecosystems are at risk from DAPL because of lax governmental regulations under the Clean Water Act.
